RCVF&R covers 107 square miles of rural area which encompasses more than 300 properties, homes and businesses and an estimated population of over 600. RCVF&R has mutual aid agreements and procedures set in place with many surrounding areas including Wetmore, Beulah, Pueblo, Custer and Freemont counties.
RCVF&R serves the community by being First Responders to a variety of calls. We are dispatched from 911 calls to Pueblo EMS for fire, medical, and rescue calls. We work in tandem with other Emergency Responders in Pueblo County and support with Mutual Aid to our surrounding areas.
RCVF&R can suggest fire mitigation techniques and planning, so you can be proactive with fire mitigation to protect your land, home, structures, loved ones and neighbors.
RCVF&R has many events to bring our community together. In our somewhat remote area it is important to maintain a network of people helping people.
Our "Fun Raising" events help bring our community closer and helps in forming important and often times, treasured bonds.
