RCVF&R covers 107 square miles of rural area which encompasses more than 300 properties, homes and businesses and an estimated population of over 600. RCVF&R has mutual aid agreements and procedures set in place with many surrounding areas including Wetmore, Beulah, Pueblo, Custer and Freemont counties.
RCVF&R serves the community by being First Responders to a variety of calls. We are dispatched from 911 calls to Pueblo EMS for fire, medical, and rescue calls. We work in tandem with other Emergency Responders in Pueblo County and support with Mutual Aid to our surrounding areas.
RCVF&R can suggest fire mitigation techniques and planning, so you can be proactive with fire mitigation to protect your land, home, structures, loved ones and neighbors.
Fire Balls are very effective and easy to deploy fire extinguishing tools.
They can be purchased at a greatly reduced price to our community through RCVF&R.
